Tallahasse shopping spree and St. Marks River

For graduation, Anthony and his dad pitched in money to take me on a shopping spree to the Tallahassee mall! Yesterday, the shopping spree took place! I had so much fun picking out clothes, knowing I wouldnt be spending a penny! Haha. After we got done shopping, we went to St. Marks River and had a good time out on the boat.

We saw some manitees. It was so cool how close they got to the boat. They looked so sweet!

We also saw some cute little turtles.

I have been working at a new store downtown called VERGE. It is a vintage consignment store, with some of the cutest clothes! Last week we had a fashion show there, so here are some of the pictures!

Interview at the Medical College of Georgia.....

I applied to three different hospitals for child life specialist internships, unfortunately, I was rejected to all three. I applied to MCG and they told me that they only accept interns from UGA. So I thought my dream was put on hold for a while... Well a few weeks ago, I got an email from MCG asking if I would be interested in a 9 month internship, and take classes from MCG. I thought it sounded to good to be true! They asked me to come up a few days later for an interview. My mama was just as excited as I was, so we booked a hotel, and headed to Augusta, GA.

This is the Childrens Medical Center at MCG.

The night before the interview, Mama and I went downtown and found the river walk. It was so beautiful! I knew right then that I wouldnt mind living in Augusta if I was offered the internship!

I felt like my interview went VERY good, but it took a while for them to get back with me. The lady who interviewed me sent me an email that said "We will put a letter in the mail tomorrow with our decision" I called Mama and began crying immediately. I just knew that was a NO.... Little did I know.......

My acceptance letter was on the way!!! I found out on my Mamas birthday while eating at the Cookie Shoppe downtown! I will never EVER forget that moment!!! The Lord has been with me every single step of this process, from meeting MCG doctors at Phoebe, talk of Phoebe buying Palmyra and turning it into a women and childrens hospital, getting an internship my FIRST time applying (it normally takes about 4 or 5 times applying to get an interview), as well as many other mind blowing ways! I am so blessed and excited to see what the Lord has planned during this process! I know its going to be something that will change the rest of my life!!

Our Macon Family...

Uncle Mike, Aunt Pam, Hunter, and Taylor live in Macon, so we do not get to see them that much. Luckily, they came down for a day this summer and we were able to hang out for a little bit!!

Fathers Day

I am VERY late, but just found my camera cord to upload pictures... Here are some pictures from Fathers Day....

Happy Fathers Day- Daddy, Gdaddy, and Poppy! We love you!!!!
