Carrie's wedding!!

Last Saturday, one of my best friends got married to a boy that she has dated since 7th grade! Carrie was one of the girls I interned with, and I connected with her from the first day!
 Austin's mom and dad
 Carrie's mom and brother.
 arent they cute?
Carrie and her dad
Im so glad they put their program on a flyer... it was deathly hot at the wedding!
Carrie surprised Austin by showing up in a horse and carriage.
 I love her dress.

This wedding was also exciting because one of my good friends was the photographer!
Carrie and Austin wanted both of their parents to come up and say a prayer with them being newlyweds.
 the kiss.
 THEY ARE MARRIED!!

I love their cake-topper! Its hard to see, but Carrie and Austin are both very casual, so this represents them perfectly!

I hated having to say bye to Carrie and Stephanie.
Me and my sweet mama. This day could not have been possible without her!!

Saturday.

This Saturday was such a great day!! It started off by seeing our good friends, Warren, Jill, and Baker. They moved to Arkansas in December, so this is the first time we have seen them since then!! Mama and I met them and a few others at Harvest Moon.
 Baker has gotten so big!
Baker and his daddy.
After we had lunch, Mama and I headed to Atlanta to see one of my best friends get married. We made a quick stop to see my good friend/sister/cheerleading coach/actress, Shannen Fields and her daughter Mallory.
I havent seen Shannen since my freshman year of college (we still keep in contact) so it was so nice to meet up with them and REALLY catch up!!!
This is where we got our dessert. It was a "Do it Yourself Picnic Place". They had all this set up for their customers! I thought it was such a cute idea! It was way too hot for us to sit outside though!!
Our desserts!! YUM!

friends. food. tie dye.

Last week, Anthony and I went to eat with Andrew and his girlfriend.
One of my friends, Ashley made a comment last week about how she had never been to Nothing Fancy before. We quickly decided to change that!!!

Another of me and Anthony...
Afterwards, we all came back to my house and did cheerleading stunts in the yard. Anthony would never admit to it, but he was the backspot! haha Mama also joined us for that!!
We then decided to tie dye some tshirts!!
Abbey was the only one smart enough to read the instructions!
 Ashley ready to get messy!
we didnt use the gloves so we had dye all over our hands. I had to go to a wedding the next day, and still had dye all over me!

Our masterpieces!!

Certified Child Life Specialist!!!!

Last week, I realized that hard work really does pay off! I passed my Child Life Certification exam that I took in Washington, DC. last month!! Never in my life have I worked so hard to accomplish something. I have been studying for this exam for the past year, so it feels so good to know that hard work does pay off!!

I recieved this email while I was watching a tv show with Mimi. I stared at my phone for about 3 minutes before opening the email. I screamed. I cried. Mimi screamed. Mimi cried. Then we both did a happy dance around the room!! I called Mama and she screamed. I called Daddy and he cried. I called Grammy and she was in the process of writing me an email wanting to know if I had the results. I called Poppy and he was excited. I called Anthony and he said he would take me out to celebrate. I love how supportive my friends and family have been with my career choice!!
 It's official!!!!!!
Anthony surprised me with these pretty flowers!
And my parents surprised me with a cookie cake!! My favorite thing ever!!!!

Skeet Shootin'

For Fathers Day, Anthony wanted to take his dad out to skeet shoot. Lucky me got to join in on the fun!!
Anthony was amazing at it. He was asked to shoot in a tournament in the next few weeks for a fundraiser.
 Mr. Chris.

Im normally decent at it, but today I did not hit a single skeet. So, the only thing I was good at was mashing the "pull" button...
The winner and the loser.

BEACH

Last Monday, my parents and I left for the beach.
Andrew watched Chanel for the first few days, so this is the note that I left him...
If you know me, you know Im the biggest street junkie. I spotted this LV on the side of the road and made Daddy turn the car around to pick it up!
The beach was filled with jellyfish. A little boy picked one up and showed it to everyone at the pool. He even wanted us to touch it. I wouldnt be surprised if he threw it into the pool afterwards!
Mama and Daddy taking a romantic walk on the beach.
Thursday night, Andrew and Brittany let me be the third wheel and we went to Pier Park.
 Me and Brittany
We then decided to be rebellious and get Henna tattoos. Brittany got one that has the eternity symbol with the word Love inside.
I was going to get a little $7.99 tattoo, but Brittany paid for me to get the Chanel one :)
I am getting used to it now.. I want one just a little bit smaller and in white ink.
Mimi and Poppy watched Chanel the last half of the week. I made them send me several pictures of her!! I think they fell in love with her even more!
But I sure did love snuggling with Chanel and Paris when we got home!
I bought Chanel these bows as an "Im sorry for leaving you for a week" present!

I didnt take that many pictures at the beach because we were so lazy! We did meals in our condo, so we stayed in pajamas most of the trip and with no make-up! haha. But it was so nice to be able to have no worries in the world for a week!
