ONE WEEK!

In ONE week from today, I will officially be a college graduate! It is so hard to even imagine that my "school years" are finally coming to an end. This year seems like it has taken forever for it to end, but looking back these past 4 years have flown by!

Right now I am having a million emotions running through my mind... excitement, fear, relief, nervousness, anxiousness, scared, determination, laziness, sadness, but what I am feeling the most is excitement.

Im excited to say Ive completed college on time.. not many people do now. Im excited to see where life takes me next.. Im excited to get my career going..Im excited to go back to Albany to be around my family, anthony, and friends.. Im excited about volunteering with Phoebe.. Im excited im done writing papers and studying every night.. Im excited to get away from roommate drama.. Im excited about having free meals every day now :) .. Im excited to see where the Lord leads me.

Even though Im so excited, I have alot of thing I fear. Im scared of leaving my best friend Mechelle. Im scared of being "in the real world now" Im scared of paying my own bills.. Im scared of not finding an internship right away.. Im scared of what its going to be like moving back in with the family (not that I do anything bad, but Im so used to being on my own and not have to answer to anyone) Im scared of dreams being shattered.. Im scared of my brother moving, hes like my best friend.. Im scared that I am dreaming too big!

Im trusting the Lord to work out every detail of my future. He has already blessed me beyond measures with a family, boyfriend, and friends who are so supportive of me and my career goal of becoming a child life specialist. The Lord has also been showing how good he is with every detail with me finding volunteer hours and possible internships. Its almost crazy how well everything has been going!

Im very excited to start the "week-long countdown" , and cannot wait to see what happens next!

Easter Sunday

Last Sunday was such a wonderful, beautiful, spiritual, family & friend oriented day!!

The day started out by going to church with my family and anthony. It was a great Easter service, and was so nice to see all my family at church. After church, we all headed to Mimi and Poppy's house for a picnic with both sides of our family, anthony, and several of Mimi and Poppys friends.

I am blessed beyond measure to have the family and boyfriend that I have! Its so nice to go to church with everyone there every Sunday. Easter is such a special time, and I wouldnt have spent it with anyone else. I hated that my Uncle Mike, Aunt Pam, Hunter and Taylor didnt come down.. wasnt the same without them! One thing I couldnt stop thinking about was I bet that Aunt Lynda and Sue-ma had the best Easter of their lives in Heaven this year! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!!

Last week I had the chance to meet my parents in Tifton for my brothers baseball game! I did not want to drive by myself, so I drug my roommate and her cousin along for the ride! Me, Mechelle, and Taylor front row seats watching the game!

I know I used to hate going to your games when I was little, and would pitch a fit about it, but the past few years I have tried my best to go to every game I could! This was the LAST game I will EVER see you play in. I never thought I would be sad about it, but I really was! I didnt show it because Mechelle, Taylor, and the family were around. I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished this year. SO MANY HOMERUNS! The team may not be good, but you are awesome at baseball, as well as everything else you do....(except beating me up!) It was a privilege to watch you, but I am excited for you and whatever your next step in life may be. I love you so much!

Im real late, but last week was my Grammys birthday!!

Hope you had a great birthday Grammy! Sorry I couldnt be there to enjoy it with you, but it was so good to see you for Easter! Last Saturday, we all went to my Aunt Beccy and Uncle Bills house for a cookout. Ribs.. cheese grits.. catfish... green beans.. crescent rolls..brownies.. cookies.. coffee.. Bottom line was: IT WAS DELICIOUS! My family, along with my Uncle Tod and Aunt Melanie, Uncle Greg and Aunt Sue and their kids Kendyll and Lanier, and Bill and Beccys sons, Seth and Micah were all there. This is one thing I LOVE about living in Albany... I love that my entire family lives there, and I love the fact that our family is more than family.. everyone is really good friends!

I guess I got busy and didnt get a picture of everyone :( Sorry yall! We had alot of fun geting all messy eating our ribs... and just sitting around and talking. I heard stories (crazy stories) that I have never heard before about some family members! I cannot wait to move back May 7th so we can have some more nights like these!

Family Tennis Night

Friday night was nothing but a family night. Our fun started at dinner and carried on until we went to bed! Im taking a tennis class at school (which I have been in for 4 months, but have only gone to 2 classes) and I have to do outside "play-time". So I had the bright idea to turn it into a family night!

I am the worlds WORST tennis player... My brother never set out of a game. Mama... I was surprised, but she was actually REALLY good!!
